Many people are in need of legal assistance, however many fail to afford an attorney and are not within driving distance of a free legal aid office. The Jefferson Parish Library is participating in the annual event in partnership with the Louisiana State Bar Association, the State Library of Louisiana, and the Louisiana Library Association. The event is free at no cost and registration is not required. A library card is required to meet with an attorney.
