FTI Consulting, a Washington, DC-headquartered management consultancy, has added four US-based senior managing directors to its corporate finance & restructuring segment: Emily Golenberg, Mitali Sharma, Matteo Dominianni, and Alexey Timashkov.
Golenberg and Sharma join the transactions practice – bringing deep expertise in M&A advisory, complex transactions, growth strategy, turnaround services and performance improvement.
Golenberg is based in San Francisco and has more than 15 years of M&A lifecycle experience, with a focus on value preservation, value creation, and business transformation for corporate and private equity clients.
She was previously a managing director at EY-Parthenon, VP of M&A operations at Platinum Equity, and a senior director in KPMG’s M&A services offering.
Sharma is based in Atlanta and has over 20 years of strategy consulting experience. She has extensive expertise advising C-suites and boards on organic and inorganic growth opportunities.
Sharma was previously a partner at EY-Parthenon, a managing director at Accenture, and a principal at PRTM (now PwC).
“Transactions are at the core of what we do,” said Scott Bingham, co-leader of the global transactions practice within the corporate finance & restructuring segment at FTI Consulting. “Emily and Mitali have seen what works and what doesn’t work. They understand regulatory pressures and cross-border complexities and have the market knowledge to benefit our clients.”
Dominianni and Timashkov join the telecom, media, and technology (TMT) team within FTI Delta, the strategy consulting practice within FTI Consulting’s corporate finance & restructuring segment.
Dominianni is based in New York and has over 15 years of consulting, investment banking, and telecom industry experience. He specializes in operational improvement, cost optimization, and enhancing valuations via organic and inorganic growth.
Dominianni was previously a senior managing director at Strategy&, a director at AlixPartners, and an investment baking senior associate at Financo.
Timashkov is based in Dallas and has over 20 years of experience in consulting, telecom, and technology. He focuses on strategy, operational productivity, market opportunity identification, and new product launches.
Timashkov previously spent a decade at Boston Consulting Group, where he was a managing director and partner. Before that, he was head of global services at Orange Business Services, VP of systems integration at Compulink Group, and services sales director at Avaya.
Earlier in his career, Timashkov was a senior software engineer at Golden Telecom.
“Having Alexey and Matteo join FTI Delta is a tremendous asset,” said Shawn O’Donnell, a senior managing director and TMT US lead. “Their industry leadership, combined with hands-on operational experience, gives them unique insights into the challenges and opportunities our clients face. Their expertise will be crucial as we help our clients navigate the ever-evolving telecom landscape.”
